Amazing!  Have a look at this video on spraying CA glue with an air brush.
Think of the potential this could have on delicate natural edge bowls etc
Has this been tried buy AWGB members?

Haggy,
as yet I have not had time to watch the video of this but I would say that you need to be careful with CA glue. The fumes are pretty dangerous and by using a spray there could be a tendency for "uncontrolled" or "undirected" droplets to be airborne. This should be avoided. Just be aware that not all the woodturning advice on the internet is good advice.

Thanks for the note of caution BHT- I need to be careful, it is something I wouldn't attempt with students.
I don't think the mask being worn offers enough protection, I will check this out.
The main drawback  as I see it is cost- CA adhesive being an expensive medium to spray. I have often wanted to coat  small objects other than pens with this finish - applying CA with an air brush didn't enter my head, I feel I could be missing out by not trying this.
