Second attempt at resin casting

Hopefully this time the pictures will be displayed
 Second attempt at resin casting this time using epoxy which is great to work with
 Old piece of Elm with a rotten hole in it

this looks to be very good. When you say epoxy what are you talking about? ie what make?

This looks very good work. Excellent finish but could we have a little more info please. Size, resin used, colour additive type that sort of stuff.

Hi
 The pot stands 90mm tall and about 60mm across and I used a clear rigid epoxy casting resin coloured red with pearlescent powder added
 The epoxy resin turns really easily and tales a good finish sanded down to 2000 grit wet and dry and then t cut,light coat of laquer to seal the wood

That is one impressive piece, nice clean design. Elm is stunning in the first place and the resin has worked well, makes the piece, as with the high finish. Top marks.
