Diamond winged box

This box was turned from one diamond shaped Iroko blank 12"X 6"x 3", and it was a challenging piece to turn getting the wings to an equal thickness. C&C's welcomed.

Hi Gwilym,
             yes I think you might have achieved your desired effect. Very nice indeed but you can keep the Iroko
can't stand the dust from it. ;D

Congratulations on your first attempt at a diamond winged box . Excellent even wall thicknes. Can I see feet underneath?
Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Could this be the first in a series?

A really fine piece of turning in that base, especially to get it so even in thickness and in the undercutting of the box.
