I like the idea but not the white effect. The spiraling effect is fine just the white in it. Sorry

Hi Francesco...I'm with Peter on this one, but colour, texture and so on is such a personal choice. Anyway...the effect of the whirl is very topical, given what's been happening out east from us!

Francesco,

I have to partially disagree. The spiralling/texturing in the platter base would (I think) look awful without something to bring it to life, it would just be heavy scratches.

Maybe the colour is wrong, or is it that white is not such a good choice against the wood, but then what what would be a better colour?

My opinion is that some of the spirals are a little smeary giving a washed out look more than a definitive vortex effect, but overall I like it.
