Some of you may remember a woodturner , Paula Nolan , a few years ago , she had a box on the cover of woodturning magazine , a box with cowhorns made from ash and scorched I think it won an award .anyway I was at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen at Bovey Tracey recently and there is a large display of her work ( 30-40 boxes ) that are simply stunning in quality ,detail , and in styles I would find hard to describe but well worth a visit , they are unlike anything I have seen before ! Very impressive !!!! I often look around craft /art galleries and am often disappointed by what I see , but this is probably the best I have ever seen of this type of work . ....Terry.....
