Really like the clean simplicity of this, bet it isn't so simple to get this look though.

Hi Jo
Another fine piece. The carving which you have done on the legs and waste really add to the form of it. I think that many of us have had a go at off centre manekins but have been unable to achieve forms like this. Anybody's wife in particular??????????? :) ;)

Jo,

I hope my humour carries

At first I thought it can't be a woman, she's only juggling one ball! Then I realised it was the head.

Joke over

The simplicity of your form is once again stunning and the execution of the form excellent. If I have one criticism, the head looks slightly too large for the remainder of the figure. However as I've never know you do something without reason, I'm sure the slight oversize also has a meaning we can't fully understand.

How tall is the figure please?

Hi,
yes, you are right. The head is a little bit to large. But you know, wifes likes sometimes to have a
pighead (German: Dickkopf). No - the head is to large. The second one ist better I think. Especially
I like to touch the curves. I hope you see a little bit the sex appeal I wanted to emphasize.
This figure is 36cm tall and from olive ash.

Jo, that looks much better. Also the central hollow is a little more pronounced which helps bring it alive.

Yes we can see the sinuousness of the form, reflecting the curves of an attractive lady.

Jo,

each one is better than the last. In this one the sense of movement is real, she could actually be walking.

Jo,

You have the line on these, getting better with each one.

Cheers.

I have had a few tries at off centre work but never got the hang of it so stand back in admiration of pieces like this. One day one day LOL.
