Commission piece I've just finished for a work colleague. All his design and colour choice after not being able to find a keepsake urn that he liked for a loved one.

11½" tall 5½" wide sycamore with oak lid and corian threaded insert.

Lovely piece, love the form. For me the lid looks odd, almost as if it was unfinished. I wonder what some colour and a finial might do for it? Love your use of colour, a great transition from dark to bright.

  Very good overall shape  ... The colour blending and finish really stands out.. just not sure of the top

It looks like a Sunrise to me. the knots and twisted grain giving the cloud effect.

Great colour work, the blending is really good.
