That's a bit of a bargain, George....I'm always getting students looking for equipment. If I lived closer I'd buy it and sell it on to a student.
I'm sure it won't be there for long.

It is truly a sad state of affairs when two friends cannot pass well-intentioned comments on a post. If the rules really do bar such comments, perhaps the rules need to be revised!
Les

p.s. ... if the rules restrict us to requests for further information or clarification, perhaps I should have been informed of my transgression by personal message, as the message that told me that I had broken the rules, broke the rules itself, perhaps!

The rules and guidelines are all there for valid reasons but anyone who thinks improvements can be made is welcome to make a suggestion by emailing me. If the moderators think there is need to intervene, they will do so. Anyone who thinks rules need to be enforced should contact the moderators (by clicking the "report to moderators" link on each post) to request they intervene rather than doing so themselves.
