Hi Folks,

Haven't posted anything in a loooong time.

Been doing some piercing, pryo work lately. Here is one of my recent pieces.

    "Cycle of Life"
Turned from Pear, pierced, pyrographed and colored, approx 5 1/2" dia.

What a superb piece of work. The best on here for a long while. Everything about it is clean, precise and very well executed. The photography is also outstanding. The last photo reminds me (very slightly) of Darth Vader's helmet. Or is it just me. Fantastic.

A very interesting piece of work. It works well for me on a number of levels. The initial turning of the shape is very fine. It has been treated to a number of processes of which I have no experience but there is a quality which comes through to the untutored eye.

Michael,

this shows an amazing level of detail and probably more than can be seen, because it had to start with the planning of the work, not the turning.
