There certainly is some interesting things happening in this. The spalting (I don't think its water staining) with the fiddle back running transversely through it is very attractive.
I think the foot could have been very slightly smaller, but it may also be that you were constrained by the size of the chuck jaws as well.
Overall it's well turned with a good shape and very well finished, well done.
