Cherry trunk blocks for dry hardwood
« on: February 20, 2019, 04:46:32 PM »
I have a large cherry tree trunk see the pic plz

I want to exchange it for some dried hardwood for spindles and such at least 4 inch square preferable that it is cut to 4 or above square :)

The cherry has been standing for 2 years capped off on top with waterproof PVA - I'll lob of the end - if people are interested, and show a picture, then re seal it.
I have a decent electric chainsaw so the "swapper" can come along and we will divide it up etc and bargain with spit in hadshakes etc.. its nearly 40 cm wide on the top.

Oh sorry Yeah Lancashire Near Kirkham

Too far for me, though I do love working Cherry, especially when not quite dry, cut it thin and let it distort  :)
