'Tiger eye' bowl

FYI - a technique I tried mainly because I rather over-ordered pewter ingots for a previous job!

The way of doing the inner pewter cup is clever but the addition of the slightly wider additional ring, giving the impression of a second pewter cup and gives the whole thing a great lift.

Thanks for the post.

 - thanks although the thought that the ring might suggest a hidden second cup only occurred to me after much of the fabrication!

This is just fun really - a steel bearing ball spinning in the bowl.  Of course one could do the same with any bowl but the ball spins down much faster in an all-wood bowl and the reflections are less interesting!
