I have a very old Trend which I find heavy to use, I therefore looked at the Axminister respirator and eventually purchased a JSP respirator from Toolpost which looks to all intents and purposes the same as the Axminster.   When I came to replace the filters I telephoned Axminister to confirm whether their filters would fit, the response I received was that whilst they would fit the JSP filters from Toolpost gave a greater level of protection.  Perhaps further research.
