Turning Day in aid of Children with Cancer UK
« on: October 20, 2018, 10:15:34 AM »
I’ll be helping my colleague again at Warwickshire College, Jamie Ward, raise money for Children with Cancer UK on Saturday 9th February 2019 by running a turning day at the Leamington Spa campus from 9am to 3:30pm. The cost is £60 with only 6 places available. All of the money goes to the charity with free use of the College workshop and my time.

If interested please contact Jamie at jward@warwickshire.ac.uk . It’s on a first come first served basis with payment made prior to the day.

A fair point, John....however, in this day of multi-social-media-exposure, it may well be the case that some members have interacted with this topic through other channels.
Les
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.

Thank you John and Les. As Les has said I've put this up in a number of places and have heard today from Jamie that 4 of the 6 places have been taken pending confirmation of payment. There have also been those can't make it who have made donations to Jamie's fundraising. Thank you to all; you know who you are :-). It is really appreciated. Thank you.
