Green textured and coloured Oak bowl

Steve jones suggested green would be worth a try so if you don't like it blame him LOL
This bowl is 14" X 2"

    Think the Green goes very well with the scorching and the oak ........ Gives the whole piece a very earthy look.

I first stole the idea of carving and scorching off Mark Sanger probably about 12 years ago and I think les thorn used to do some I have just added colour

Thank Steve, Green is not a colour I'd normally think of either, but it does sit very wall against the scorching.

Outside of nature, green is probably my least favourite colour but I have to admit this appeals more to me than the other colours, really works with the carving etc for me.
