Just to let you know that our insurance brokers Tennyson Insurance are now part of Zurich as per this extract from a letter they sent to us yesterday. This does not affect the PL and All Risks policies in place (or under renewal) as these are already underwritten by Zurich. Any branches and clubs holding policies via Tennyson will no doubt receive the same email as we did. For info the key text is:
I am writing to let you know about an exciting development for Tennyson Insurance. We became a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Insurance in June and as a result we are going to adopt the Zurich brand from November 23rd. We have worked exclusively with Zurich since we started out in 2008, so this is a logical next step for our company.
In addition to adopting the Zurich brand we will also cancel our independent FCA authorisation and become an Appointed Representative of Zurich Insurance plc. This will not impact your insurance cover in any way and there will be no change to the regulatory standards that we apply in the sale, administration and service of your insurance.
We believe that it will be good news for your organisation as it marries our customer service skills with Zurich’s insurance and risk management expertise. Together, we will develop new sector-specific products and services and remain committed to the hallmarks of our service standards.
