Tormek Truing Tool

HI
I've been lucky to have a Tormek system for a few years but when I bought it the truing tool was a manual affair. The latest truing tool has two wheels that you turn that takes the diamond tip across the wheel.
I had resisted until a couple of weeks ago when I bought the TT-50U which is the upgrade kit.
I set it up quite easily but you do need to follow the instructions carefully and wow! what a finish it gives on teh wheel. I have one of the black wheels and it looked like new when I had trued it up with this piece of kit. Far superior to the "manual" method.
If you're thinking of upgrading I have no hesitation in recommending the upgrade.
Cheers Dave

Yes they are good, i was very lucky that a Tormek T7 was up for sale with some wood from a turner that was giving up. All the jigs came with this and the truing tool came with this, yes i would recommend the upgrade.
