I had a real bargain on e-bay a few days ago. I was searching various names of timber, typed in African Blackwood, and up came a batch of 80 small pieces. they're only 75mm x 25mm x25mm, but perfectly good for small finials, knobs etc. I got them for under 40p per piece. the seller's name is wudstock2007 and it looks like he's a regular seller of surplus workshop gear....seems he'd had several lots of 80 pieces of blackwood for sale as well as other stuff.
