Post by: Roger Groom on October 31, 2019, 08:00:22 PM
This is a smallish hollow form made out of Walnut with an African Blackwood finial. Diameter is about 100mm and height to top of finial is 190m. the pith has been filled with brass powder and CA glue. Feel free to comment or not.

I'm really not the best judge of finials, having not really done many lid-and-finial combinations, but I know that I like this one and its proportions look right to me.

Sweet. Lovely shape to the hollow form and the finial compliments it well.
