Title: Source for wood in Rhydlewis
Post by: Paul Hannaby on November 08, 2017, 04:17:17 PM
Received by email - I thought it might be of interest to anyone in the area

My name is Faith and I am emailing to make you aware of the sustainable 'timber' business that my family runs from our farm down in Rhydlewis ; due to the nature of the timber cuts, our biggest market at present is wood turners like yourself.

We are fortunate to have a 17 acre native woodland on the farm that has had very little done to it since the 70's.
Due to this, it is very over-populated and there is a lot of surplus timber available that we are planning to harvest and sell in small job lots in order to restore it to better health.

At present we currently have some timber available that you can view on our website (see below). We regularly update the site with both small and large lots that we have at any given time.
We currently have everything from Oak to Poplar.

The site works on a 'make us an offer' principal and our contact details can be found on the page; viewings are of course welcome!

I hope that this is of interest to yourself and your society and we would appreciate it if you could share us around where possible; we think welsh timber and wood-crafting is wonderful, and we hope you do too!
