Title: Tru-Grind Sharpening System
Post by: Philip Greenwood on February 06, 2011, 07:20:57 PM
Tru-Grind Sharpening System

I needed a second system for comparison so went for this type

Setting up. This was not to bad, the instructions say watch the DVD first but a DVD was not available where i was. i would recommend watching the DVD first, but it can be setup  without.

This is so easy to use. one problem my students have is sharpening the oval skew, the rocking is the main problem. This is so easy with Tru-grind.
This cost £95 but the Sorby system cost £80 but with add on for the Skew of £26 this is more expensive.

No problems with this at all. I got mine off Ebay form Phil Irons it came in 2 days so very good service.

Regrets yes, i wish i had brought this system a long time ago.

Any more info please ask.
